Great products do not sell themselves. Growth-ready products do.

Set up Sage_AI, the product management assistant that runs the M-PaX System, and put it to work on your product.

Start step 1

AI can now do much of the work of building and selling a product

A product that sells takes two kinds of work, and both are part of the commercial equation. The first is the product itself. You learn who you are selling to and what they need, then confirm, refine, and improve the product against that, loop after loop. A product that meets the needs of a large, hungry market has a big part of the commercial work done already. The second is the promotion and sales side: getting the product found, understood, believed, and sold.

The documentation, the tracking, the planning, the writing, and a good share of the execution used to take a team. AI now does them many times faster than a person. For the first time, a small company can follow the same best practices a large one does, without the large company's payroll and resources.

These practices pay off with or without AI. Any operation, solo or a team, has the same need. You cannot keep everything in your head, and you should not have to invent the system as you go. People get by on shared know-how and gut instinct, and the cost stays hidden until the needle will not move as fast as you want. A shared context fixes that for everyone on the team.

AI raises the stakes. It works so fast that a gap in context shows up at once, and it cannot use tribal knowledge or gut instinct. Give it the context and the gap with large companies starts to close. Leave it out and you get thin work, fast.

Working with Sage_AI

You tell Sage_AI what you need: a product marketing plan, a brand people trust, a fix for your lead flow, or the next piece of your development plan. It asks for what it needs, drafts, and keeps the work moving. You answer, correct, and decide.

On the development side, you run a mission to complete part of the plan, and Sage_AI helps update the development log, the technical specification, and whatever else the work touched. Hours at a blank page become a short, focused conversation. Every Growth Factor you complete makes the product easier to find, easier to understand, and easier to believe, and the gains build on each other.

What the M-PaX System is

The M-PaX System names the 37 Growth Factors that have to be true for a product to reach its full potential, and gives you the templates and Sage_AI, a product management assistant, to work them one step at a time. It is the context Sage_AI works from, and it gives you a shared vocabulary so nobody explains the work twice. It is published free and in full, and you can start today without a sales call or a ProductSage account.

It rests on more than thirty years of product management in complex and regulated MedTech, refined across hundreds of implementations. Doug Hudiburg built it to do this work for his clients and his own products, used it on real products, and fixed it when it fell short.

What it costs

The System is free. You need a Google account and a Claude account, and you can start with a free Claude account. Free accounts can create a Project and connect Google Drive, which is everything setup requires.

If you work fast, you will want more usage. Claude Pro is $20 a month, Max starts at $100 a month, and Team plans give several people seats. Plans and prices change, so check claude.com/pricing.

When you need help

ProductSage holds your plan, your documents, and your templates in one place, along with the live Sage_AI Meta for each Growth Factor, the instructions that tell Sage_AI how to run it. It makes those instructions easy to manage, and it tracks your progress with the Growth Readiness Score. You can start with it free.

M-PaX Services supplies vetted, trained people who join your team on demand. They know the System and the specific deliverables of each Growth Factor, and they share your vocabulary, your system, and your platform, so they can start activating and accelerating Growth Factors right away.

Both are there when you need them, and neither is required to start.

The steps
