X.2.4 MF Product Assets

Develops the core messaging, collateral, and sales and support materials needed to start Launch.

Overview

Product Assets develops the marketing assets required to start Launch. These include product messaging for the website and elsewhere, collateral such as brochures and support material, and training materials for customer service and sales.

A product cannot launch effectively without the minimum set of assets. Most marketing assets are built later in Launch. To meet this Growth Factor, the team develops the core assets needed to support the product during initial rollout.

Why It Matters

A product cannot launch on an empty shelf. Without core messaging, collateral, and sales and support materials, there is nothing to put in front of a customer.

Product Assets delivers the minimum set needed to start Launch. Most marketing assets are built later, in Launch, but the core pieces have to exist first, or the launch stalls before it begins.

This Growth Factor makes sure the essentials are ready so the product can actually go to market.
